Superpower Beginner Lash Glue – Normal Humidity | ~2s Slow-Dry for Beginners
A beginner-friendly, slower-dry formula designed for normal salon humidity. More working time helps prevent “half-dry” bonding and improves consistency for new lash artists.
Quick Specs
Type: Normal-humidity formula (best in ~40–65% RH)
Dry time: ~2 seconds (more working time)
Target user: Beginners / training / slower hand speed
Base system: Cyanoacrylate-based (professional use only)
Viscosity control: Optimized with PMMA for stable pickup & a consistent glue bead
*Actual performance varies based on humidity, temperature, prep, technique, and aftercare.

Why a slower-dry glue helps beginners
Fast-dry glues (0.5–1s) are great for experienced lash artists, but beginners often move slower between picking up the extension and placing it on the natural lash. When a glue starts to cure before the extension fully contacts the natural lash, it can become half-dry. A half-dry glue bead creates a weaker bond when it touches the natural lash, which can reduce instant grab and lead to lower retention.
With ~2 seconds of working time, this Beginner formula gives you a better window to place the extension cleanly and consistently—so bonding happens while the adhesive is still active.
Humidity-first selection (the #1 factor)
Lash adhesive cures through a moisture-triggered chemical reaction. Higher humidity speeds curing; lower humidity slows it. For the most consistent results, choose glue by humidity type first:

Normal-humidity formulas: best around ~40–65% RH
Low-humidity formulas: best around ~25–45% RH (for very dry environments)
Tip: If your room RH is below ~40%, consider a low-humidity formula instead of forcing a normal-humidity glue.
About PMMA (why pickup feels easier)
Pure cyanoacrylate can be very low-viscosity (water-like). We use PMMA to adjust viscosity/rheology for:
Stable pickup (you can pick a controlled bead more easily)
Consistent glue bead (more repeatable placements)
Too much thickener is not ideal—it can slow curing and increase nozzle clogging risk—so viscosity is optimized for balance.
Best Use Case
✔ Beginner lash artists (learning phase / slower placement speed)
✔ Training salons / schools / practice sets
✔ Artists who want a more forgiving working time in normal humidity (40–65% RH)
✔ Helps reduce “half-dry bonding” caused by rushing or slow hand speed
How to get the best retention with a 2s glue
1) Keep RH in range (ideally 40–65% for this formula).
2) Use clean, properly prepped lashes (oil/dust reduces bonding).
3) Pick a controlled bead—avoid oversized beads that slow curing.
4) Place the extension smoothly and avoid “hovering” too long after pickup.
5) Refresh your glue drop regularly during the service.
Freshness Check (Shake Test) — before opening
Once opened, glue cannot be returned/refunded — so please do this quick test first:
• Clear, watery sound when shaking → fresh glue.
• Thicker / less fluid sound → glue may have started to age (higher viscosity).
We recommend doing this test immediately when you receive the order.
Storage (critical for consistency)
Unopened: Store cool (5–10°C / 41–50°F) to slow natural aging.
Opened: Do NOT store in the fridge. Cold↔warm changes cause condensation inside the bottle and can trigger curing.
Store opened glue at stable room temperature (15–20°C ideal), away from sunlight/heat. Best used within 4–6 weeks after opening.
Nozzle clog fix (common beginner issue)
If glue seems “dry” on the second use, it may be a clogged nozzle.
1) Shake the bottle — if you hear liquid, the glue is fine.
2) Use a long pin to gently clear/widen the nozzle opening.
3) Dispense one drop and wipe the nozzle with a dry tissue only (never damp).

FAQ
What is the best lash extension glue for beginners?
Beginners often prefer ~2s glue because it gives more working time and helps avoid half-dry bonding before placement.
Why does half-dry glue reduce retention?
If the glue bead starts curing before contacting the natural lash, the bond forms weaker at contact, reducing instant grab and long-term retention.
What humidity is best for 2 second lash glue?
This normal-humidity formula performs best around ~40–65% RH. If RH is much lower, curing may slow too much.
Can slow-dry glue still have good retention?
Yes—when humidity is in range and prep/placement are correct. Consistency often improves for beginners because placement happens while glue is still active.
How to stop lash glue from drying too fast on the extension?
Use a slower dry time (~2s), avoid overly high humidity, refresh drops regularly, and reduce time between pickup and placement.
Safety Warning: Professional eyelash extension use only. Avoid contact with eyes/skin. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Clients must keep eyes closed during application.
